  • Click the  GIF.png  icon on the top to access Myspace’s GIF maker.
  • Press and hold the plus.png icon to record
  • If you want to get more creative, you can tap the plus.png icon to take a series of photos that are automatically stitched together into an animated GIF.
  • If you mess up and want to start over , press the gifexit.png icon.
  • If you captured the shots and want to preview, press the gifselect.png icon.

In addition to being able to make and post GIFs, you can also post an image from your camera roll, or by taking a photo and post a text update. Whatever your posting,  you also have the option to share your post with Twitter and Facebook.

  Keep in mind

  • You can get everyone to share your photo mixes on blogs, sites, and the rest of the web with Embeds
  • Track the growth and stats of your GIFs & Photos using Insights
  • Feature GIFs on your profile by adding them to your Portfolio
  • The Myspace GIF feature is only available on the new Myspace mobile App.

Picture Orientation

Though the Myspace App for iOS doesn't reformat it's orientation when you tilt your phone to use landscape mode, when you want to take a photo or create a GIF in landscape mode you need to turn off orientation locking.

To unlock your screens orientation, double click the bottom home button twice to access your multitasking bar, and swipe from left to right.  The portrait orientation unlock button is the first button on the left, before the back button for universal music player controls.
